    Nearly 180 alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences gathered to honor the accomplishments and service of 19 esteemed alumni during the 2016 Alumni Awards Luncheon in March.

    The annual banquet recognizes alumni and friends with awards for Meritorious Service to the College, Distinguised Alumni, International Professional and Young Professional.

    Connecting the dots is the theme of The Ohio State University's Campus Campaign 2016, which runs through April 30.   An employee donation of just $1 helps the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences reach its goal of 45-percent participation.  
  3. Gift Provides Innovative Golf Simulator

    The College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences houses a PGA Tour Golf Simulator made possible by gifts from the Hillsdale Fund and aboutGolf. The simulator is located in Howlett Hall and allows Professional Golf Management students to polish their golf teaching skills and enhances turf grass management analysis.

  4. Facing the Fighting Irish in the BattleFrog Fiesta Bowl

    Football fans will watch two legendary college programs collide in the BattleFrog Fiesta Bowl at 1 p.m. Jan. 1 on ESPN.

    Those wishing to follow the Buckeyes to Glendale, Arizona for their highly-anticipated game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish can travel with The Ohio State University Alumni Association.

  5. Dean McPheron to Serve as Interim Executive VP and Provost

    President Michael V. Drake has named Dr. Bruce A. McPheron to serve as interim executive vice president and provost for The Ohio State University, effective Dec. 2.

    For the last three years, McPheron has served as the vice president for agricultural administration and dean of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES). He addressed Ohio State graduates at summer commencement in August.

  6. Dean McPheron Selected As Summer Commencement Speaker

    Congratulations to Dr. Bruce A. McPheron, Vice President for Agricultural Administration and Dean, College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, on his selection as speaker at The Ohio State University's Summer 2015 Commencement.

    The ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Schottenstein Center.

  7. Beck's Hybrids Makes $1 Million Gift

    May 22, 2015

    A $1 million gift from Beck's Hybrids to The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences will support Field to Faucet and the Farm Science Review.

    The gift, announced May 21, will be contributed over the next five years.

  10. Meet the New CFAES Alumni Director

    New Director of Alumni Engagement Jody Poth is no stranger to The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. 

    A 2008 alumna of the college, she was a member of the CFAES Ambassadors, the Agricultural Education Society and the 2007 Homecoming Court during her undergraduate years.

    While growing up in Fairfield County, she was involved in both Ohio 4-H and FFA.
