The CFAES Department of Animal Sciences invites its Meat Science alumni to drop by and try judging again during the 3rd annual Buckeye Classic 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 4.
The free event will be held in Animal Sciences, room 117. Beef, pork and lamb carcasses along with beef and pork wholesale with specifications will be judged.
Alumni can come and go as they please and are encouraged to meet new faculty as well as the current Buckeyes on the Meat Judging team.

A free screening of the document Food Evolution will be held 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7 at the Fisher Auditorium on Wooster Campus.
This film, directed by Academy Award nominee Scott Hamilton Kennedy and narrated by Neil deGrasse Tyson, explores controversy around the science of food through the lens
of the debate over genetically engineered foods.
We will have pizza and beverages available before the screening from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Fisher South Exhibit Room. Please plan on stopping by to catch

Frank Bazler, whose ardent support for The Ohio State University has spanned six decades, died May 12. He was 87.
Along with his wife, Ginni, Frank advocated on the university’s behalf across the state and served in innumerable roles on campus, where they both were alumni (Frank BS 1951 Business, JD 1953; Ginni BS 1954 EHE).
