The Columbus Urban Farm Tour Series is a joint project sponsored by the Franklin County Office of Ohio State University Extension, and the Columbus Urban Farmers Network. The goal of the Columbus Urban Farm Tour Series tours is to demonstrate to the general public the many benefits of urban farms in Columbus.

There is no fee or advance registration required to participate in these tours which are open to the public. Farm tours will be held rain or shine and participants should dress accordingly.

This tour is titled New Urban Farm in Residential Neighborhood at Freshtown Farm (1282 Ann St, Columbus, OH 43206).  Freshtown Farm is a community supported farm, a partnership between farmers and customers. The farm is a sustainable, small-scale one acre farm based in the Southside of Columbus and in Pataskala, Ohio. The farm’s small Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program offers hyper-local, super fresh vegetables from the farm to CSA shareholders door. Produce from the farm is also sold at farmers markets in Columbus and at a donation based farm stand at the southside farm.
