  1. "Understanding the Amish: Persistence and Change" a lecture by Joseph Donnermeyer, SENR Professor Emeritus

    The Emeritus Academy hosts a monthly lecture series in which members discuss their current research and creative activities. Lectures are free and open to the public.  This lecture will guide the audience on a journey from the outer to the inner characteristics of the real Amish, who today represent one of the fastest growing religious groups in US society.

  4. Grilling Class Series for Fathers and Kids in Butler County

    Jan 16, 2017 through Jan 16, 2018, 6:00pm - 7:30pm

    WeGrill is a free program that brings dads (grandfathers, uncles or special friends) and kids together around food and fun! Fathers spend time connecting with their child while grilling and sharing a meal at each of the eight sessions.  Extension staff will talk about nutrition, food safety and relationships.  See flyer for more information.    

  5. Spring Plant Sale & Auction Ends 2 p.m. Saturday

    The Chadwick Arboretum and Learning Gardens is hosting its Spring Plant Sale through 2 p.m. Saturday. It will take place at the northwest corner of Lane Avenue and Fred Taylor Drive, rain or shine! The sale will comprise a large selection of annuals, perennials, vegetables, both organic and heirloom, trees, shrubs, garden art, worm compost, gardening tools and more.

    Thanks to all who gave during Campus Campaign 2014. As members of the college, you have made valuable donations -- no matter the amount -- that acknowledge our mission and demonstrate a commitment to success.  And a special thank you to the 171 first-time donors in 2014. Because of you, CFAES had its most  successful year yet, with the largest participation in the college's history: 38 percent. This represents a huge jump over last year.
