The CFAES Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering (FABE) is hosting an opportunity for FABE alumni to learn from a great alumnus. Ilhami Yildiz, PhD ’93 Agricultural Engineering, MS ’87 Agronomy, and 2022 recipient of the CFAES International Alumni Award will be conducting a seminar featuring his research in the area of greenhouse engineering. This opportunity will take place in person and virtually.

- Thursday, Sept. 29: CFAES Alumni Awards Event
- This event honors 14 prestigious CFAES alumni and friends who have contributed greatly to CFAES and their respective fields. Honorees include FABE alumnus Ilhami Yildiz, PhD ’93.
- Friday, Sept. 30: Academic unit-planned events
- Each Columbus CFAES academic unit has planned a unit-specific event to bring alumni back to campus to connect with faculty, staff, students and fellow alumni. All events on Friday are free of charge, but registration is necessary.
- Saturday, Oct. 1: CFAES Homecoming Tailgate (formerly Fallfest)
- Join your fellow alumni in celebrating prior to the Ohio State-Rutgers game. This event is located on the Plumb Hall lawn, just a quick walk across the bridge to the game! Ticket options include a $25 full lunch buffet or a free, entertainment-only option.
Registration for all CFAES Alumni Homecoming events closes Monday, Sept. 12.
