Greetings!
Congratulations on earning your degree from The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES). You are now within the ranks of more than 43,000 CFAES alumni.
Are you interested in staying connected and involved with CFAES? Consider joining the CFAES Alumni Society’s board of directors as the 2020–21 class representative. The mission of the board is to plan for and initiate programs, events, and activities for the larger CFAES alumni community. The board serves as the voice of CFAES alumni with The Ohio State University Alumni Association; with the college’s and the university’s administration; and with leaders of the food, agricultural, and environmental industries in Ohio.
The board is accepting applications now for the 2020–21 class representative through Friday, June 11.
Requirements are as follows:
- Attend meetings either in person or virtually (four meetings a year and an annual retreat).
- Plan and promote the mission of the CFAES Alumni Society.
- Serve a three-year term (beginning July 1 of your elected year and concluding three years later on June 30).
- Become a Sustaining Member of The Ohio State University Alumni Society, meaning you are waived from any form of donation for the first year after your graduation. After that, you will be required to pay a $75 annual donation to any Ohio State fund.
